Janey Kate's New Quilt

After two months of on-again-off-again work I finally finished this little play quilt for Janey Kate. I wanted something small enough to carry around that would be a familiar place for her to be. It also has the bonus of setting protective boundaries from older brothers!! I got the idea from here and the fabric is from a line called Bliss that I just love!

A Special Nap

We left Janey Kate's Kitten she has been napping with at church so Anne Michal asked if she could sleep with one of Knox's dogs. Her face lit up when she saw it as though she knew it was something special. Sweet Dreams Janey Kate!

THings to Remember

Creed calling Janey Kate a Putie-a-Cutie instead of a CutiePatootie...

Creed, playing Hide and Seek with Anne Michal, walking up to Janey Kate and asking her, "Janey Kate, do you know where Anne Michal is?"

Creed turns Three

I sure do love this boy of mine; my big three year old! He was so excited about his birthday "coming" even if he didn't really believe it was today. Well, eventually he did but it took presents and cake to do so!
This morning before church. His name and 3 on his shirt are supposed to look wonky but they just look like they are going downhill...esp in this pictures. It is rather sad to be 3 and already on the downward slide! ;-)

He said, "Take my Picture here!"
Every time we asked him what he wanted for his birthday he'd say "jellybeans!" and he wanted everything green! Miss Carol brought him some green jelly beans to church and he shared them with Jonathan and Jackson.
His green cake. Elizabeth did a centerpiece as usual.
Showing us how many he is now.
He got a tricycle for his birthday. He was very excited but surprisingly timid with it.
Elizabeth giving him a hand.
He is crying here because he had a couple of spills and said it was too hard and he wanted to ride his easy bike. I think he meant his ride-on giraffe(bullseye).
He had his first rootbeer. He drank a little bit and said, "I don't really like it; Can I have some milk?"
Blowing out candles...he knew just what to do.
I am not sure all that green was a good idea; that shirt may never been clean again!
Sporting the birthday hat Elizabeth made him.
Opening his jelly beans. He was delightfully "wowed" by them. :-)

So thankful for our boy Creed and the joy he brings to our family!!
