I was on my way to take Creed to the potty when the doorbell rang so I handed him off to Elizabeth to take while I answered the door. Creed comes out of the bathroom and I ask him if he went. He says, " I had a little bit of luck."

We had chili for supper. Jack thinks he doesn't like it. The kids are all at the bar and I am at the table eating. He comes over and sits down with a forlorn look. I look up and grin really big at him because I know he wants to pout about dinner and a smile discourages a frown. He looks up at me as serious as can be and says, "I am fasting tonight."


*I am laughing all over again.*

Happy 7th Birthday Jack

I had some down time holding a sleeping baby so I got a bit picture happy. So here is a walk down Jack Lane.


Jack was born at 12:08 on a Monday morning(jan6, 2004) and taken quickly to the NICU because he had fluid on his lungs and was breathing rapidly. It was nothing serious and he was the healthiest baby in the NICU which was rather humbling. Because of that I don't have many just born pictures but he must have been around 8 weeks here which I am totally basing on the fact that liz is sitting on my mom's couch and we went home for my sister's wedding when he was that old. ;-)







A few more baby pictures. He was a good baby. Very easy going and settled into a good routine very easily though I am not sure he had much choice with 3 older siblings close in age!
