This year we made our usual pathetic attempt at a small garden. We harvested one cherry tomato and one blackberry. We would have gotten 5 blackberries if the birds hadn't beaten us to them. In all fairness we knew there wouldn't be many blackberries this year,but it does make for a better story.
This is what our garden looked like 3 days ago.
But wait....what is that in the corner????
A cucumber, and we found more growing!!!
It was delicious!!!
Then later last night. At the same time of day, this was the view out my backdoor...
and this was the view outside my front door.
